This cap is a 28mm (28-400) white electrolytic tinplate (tin coated steel) cap with a full disc plastisol liner. This closure is typically used on glass bottles, jars, and jugs. This continuous threaded (CT) cap and has a white exterior with a gold interior and gold knurled edge. Plastisol is a common liner that is used for applications such as food canning and vacuum packing because it provides a hermetic seal (or airtight seal). It is recommended for high temperature applications (container must be able to withstand high temperatures as well).

28mm 28-400 White Ribbed (Smooth Top) Plastic Cap w/PS22 Liner (Printed)
The 68W28P is a 28mm white ribbed sided cap with pressure sensitive liner. This closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 28-400 bottles and jars. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal which provides an extra level of protection. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils. The Cary Company offers accessories for the 68W28P such as extra liners, shrink bands and more.

28mm 50 x 25 Clear Perforated Shrink Band
The 68WS28 is a 50 x 25 (mm) clear vertical double perforated shrink band for 28mm (28-400 neck finish) standard caps. Shrink bands are a cost-effective way to provide tamper-evident protection to packaged goods. Heat shrink bands are manually applied over and around the cap of a container. Heat is applied using a heat gun or heat tunnel until the band shrinks and closely fits around the container. Perforation allows for easy removal of the seal.
